Combining her skills as both designer and image consultant a unique service is offered. Claire can interpret and complement her client's own colours, body and personality to create a look that enhances confidence and innate style.
For this experience you can visit the bohemian studio and shop in its original location at 29 The Bank in the historic town of Barnard Castle. The knitwear with attitude is all hand made from 100% pure washable cotton, finished to perfection by a dedicated in house team.
Claires prediction of fashion and lifestyle trends has proven successful as the essence of each collection.

Claire Bromley...is the owner and director of Claire International Limited founded in 1979. Claire is a designer and image coach of integrity, her expertise and reputation has been built up over two decades of personal recommendation.

Claire began her art training at Northampton College of Art (NENE) continuing onto Loughborough College of Art and Design gaining a B.A Hons. in Woven and Fashion Textiles, followed by qualifying as an Art Teacher and Art Therapist at Goldsmiths University London. Complementing this skill set Claire later trained as an Image Consultant with international leaders, Colour Me Beautiful.

During her residency as artist and weaver at Darlington Arts Centre Claire first designed and produced knitwear. Within a few years she was selected to join the prestigious Design Studio Group London attending trade fairs with international agents and clients. With that came features in Fashion Weekly, Draper Record, designs produced in hardback and numerous television and radio appearances including featuring as a resident Image Coach. Claire short listed as Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2003 has developed a strategy of encouraging creative minds as a coach and mentor. Clients have included Northumberland University, Durham Business School, Marks and Spencer and GlaxoSmithKline.

The bohemian studio and shop are based at its original location at No.29 on The Bank in the historic town of Barnard Castle in Teesdale, County Durham. Aside from its outstanding natural beauty, the area is renowned for its expertise in traditional hand-craft skills.
